Lizzy has battled cancer three times and, in that time, she has had 14 operations. Her most recent one resulted in the amputation of her leg. Just this would be enough for any lifetime, but for Lizzy and Joel, it’s just scratching the surface.
One of the most under-utilized resources in the church is found in the stories of those who fill its seats. Our prayer is when someone from our church family shares their story, someone currently facing a similar situation, will find hope in their storm.
