Take Off

Before Paul tells us what to put on, he tells us what to take off. In Colossians 3:5–11, we’re called to leave behind the attitudes and actions that belong to our old life—things like anger, greed, slander, and division. These don’t reflect who we are anymore. Through Christ, we’ve been made new. Now it’s time to live like it—"putting to death" the old self and walking in the new.
