Here at LCC, we talk a lot about being table waiters. Diakonos in Hebrew means "servant" or "waiter". According to scripture, we are called to be servants (table waiters). In Mark 10:45, it says, "For even the Son of man came not to be served but to serve...". We strive to be a community of people who have the hearts of a servant.
