An Unexpected Pitstop

In Acts 16:16-40, Paul and Silas think they’re headed to prayer, but obedience to God leads them into conflict, a beating, and a jail cell. What looks like a detour becomes an unexpected but divine pitstop in prison. Their worship in the darkness shakes the prison, opens doors, loosens chains, and leads a desperate jailer and his whole household to Jesus. The world sees the Gospel as dangerous, but the Church knows it is powerful and the lost desperately need it.
