Reconciliation Requires Truth
Jul 13, 2025 • Brad Wright
In verses 4–7, Paul lays a foundation of truth before making his appeal. He reminds Philemon of who he is in Christ, that he is faithful, loving, and refreshing to others. True reconciliation doesn’t begin with demands; it begins with honest encouragement and a clear reminder of gospel identity. Before broken relationships can be restored, the truth must be spoken in love. This message challenges us to speak truthfully, lovingly, and redemptively in our pursuit of reconciliation.
